WHISKY TASTING NOTES

Category: Bold 

Nose: Cheese and charcuterie, walnuts, chutney, savoury trickle tart, salted caramel, crystalised ginger, candid orange peel, bonfire, fireplace, scorched orange peel, olive oil, creamy balsamic vinegar, Hiberico ham, meaty, tart tartan, rubber, grounded salt.   

Palate: Medicinal and tar, dirty oil tank, petrol, old leather, hash, dried tobacco leaf, wet forest, industrial, scorched red fruits like plums and prunes, creamy, toasted bun. Water enhances the savoury and meaty aromas, cured salty meat, caramel and toffee, sweet poached pear, figs, and prunes, farmyard, wet hey, salted liquorice, sponge sugar cake .  

Finish: Rounded and soft mouth feeling, creamier texture with notes of bruised orchard fruits, vanilla curd, BBQ bacon, peach syrup, with a note of wood spice and bonfire in the background with a chalk finish.
