BACKGROUND TO STRATHMILL

Strathmill was born in 1891 as Glenisla-Glenlivet within the walls of a converted flour mill called Strathisla Mills. The distillery’s name was changed four years later. We like Strathmill because it’s a good, solid Speyside whisky. It’s got a nice creamy note that’s not often seen in its contemporaries, though. This whisky develops, matures and then softens from the palate to the finish. It’s a great one to sit back and enjoy.
