WHISKY TASTING NOTES

Category: Playful

Nose: Quite full, soft and buttery, the butter is clarified ghee, there are touches of lime zest, watercress, bean shoots, green olives with a mineral aspect of rock salt and salted almonds. Water brings out creamy, emulsion paint (magnolia!), herbal teas and nasturtiums

Palate: Quite full-bodied and most definitely salty, medium-sweet, a note of Manzanilla sherry, a flavour beyond brioche – croissant – saltily sweet and with fresh hops. With water, it is softer, showing agave syrup, olives, ferns and poached pears.

Finish: Long with white pepper a little spice and a floral note.

FOOD & MOOD RECOMMENDATION

Foodie Pairing: Perfect with seafood, especially smoked salmon, sushi or even fish and chips.

Mood Moment: Enjoying a fun lunch in the autumn sun… be transported on the Adriatic Coast.
