Nose: Floral, fruity and light honeydew and lemongrass; but underneath there is a hit of nutmeg hiding amongst cereal notes.

Finish: Long and lasting with a balance of fruit and nut flavours. A refined, relaxed dram.

GLENTAUCHERS BACKGROUND

This ex-bourbon Glentauchers single malt whisky, and her sister an ex-sherry Glentauchers, are like Lindsay Lohan in The Parent Trap; born on the same day, but grew up in different surroundings. Although the Glentauchers sisters were made 2 years before that movie came out; which that makes us feel old! These two whiskies show what long-term maturation does in Sherry and Bourbon casks. And, trust us, in this case it’s done different and wonderful things to these delightful scotch twins.  Check out the sister cask here.
