WHISKY TASTING NOTES

Nose: Oil lamps, dusky peat, sea salt, sea shells, brine, oysters and a host of other maritime hints. Tarry ropes, slight barley sweetness followed by camphor, wet wool, malt, grist and oak.  

Palate: Robust, sweet yet spicy with a lick of maritime and dusky peat. Sea salt, pitch, oysters and driftwood. Oak, slight cinnamon to round things off.  

Finish: Long and lingering, with the peat and oily, maritime notes bringing things to a close.
